Program Overview & Eligibility
The Elevate Tech Summer Camp (the "Program") is a week-long, full-day STEM and robotics day camp for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, held at our facility in Redmond, Washington. Students participate in hands-on robotics projects, coding activities, engineering challenges, and team-based activities led by experienced Elevate Tech coaches.
- Students must be entering Kindergarten through 8th grade in the 2026–27 academic year to be eligible.
- Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM for each registered week.
- Enrollment is subject to available spots and completion of this waiver and the registration form.
- Elevate Tech reserves the right to accept or decline any registration at its sole discretion.
Daily Schedule & Drop-Off / Pick-Up
Camp runs each day from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Families are expected to adhere to these windows to support smooth daily operations.
- Drop-off: Students may be dropped off starting at 8:50 AM. Please do not drop off students before staff are present.
- Pick-up: Students must be picked up by 3:15 PM. Late pick-ups beyond 3:15 PM may result in a late fee of $10 per 15-minute interval.
- If someone other than the registered parent or guardian will pick up your student, notify us in advance by email or at drop-off that morning.
- Students will not be released to an unregistered individual without prior written authorization from the parent or guardian.
- In the event of an early dismissal need, contact us as early in the day as possible.
Code of Conduct
Elevate Tech is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for every camper. All participants are expected to treat each other and staff with respect and contribute to a team-first atmosphere.
Students agree to:
- Treat coaches, staff, and fellow campers with respect and kindness at all times.
- Follow all instructions from coaches and staff promptly and cooperatively.
- Handle all equipment and materials responsibly and for their intended purposes only.
- Refrain from offensive language, bullying, teasing, or any form of physical or emotional harassment.
- Keep personal devices (phones, tablets) put away during camp activities unless a coach specifically permits their use.
Parents & Guardians agree to:
- Ensure their student arrives on time, well-rested, and ready to participate.
- Communicate any concerns through appropriate channels — email or a scheduled conversation — rather than at drop-off or pick-up when staff are supervising campers.
- Ensure their student brings a clearly labeled water bottle, snack, and lunch each day.
Safety Rules & Under-11 Policy
Student safety is our highest priority. The following rules apply throughout all camp activities:
- Students must not operate power tools, soldering equipment, or advanced hardware without direct coach supervision.
- Running, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior in the facility is strictly prohibited.
- Any injury, unsafe condition, or broken equipment must be reported to a coach immediately.
- Food and beverages are only permitted in designated areas to protect electronics and components.
- Students must remain within designated camp areas at all times. No student may leave the facility unaccompanied.
Fees & Payments
Camp fees cover coaching, facility use, all materials and components used during sessions, and any camp-related supplies. Specific fee amounts are communicated at enrollment confirmation.
- All fees are due by the date specified in your enrollment confirmation.
- Accepted payment methods: Zelle, check payable to "Elevate Tech Robotics Club", or as otherwise communicated.
- Fees are charged per enrolled week. Families registered for multiple weeks will be invoiced per week.
Photography & Media Consent
Elevate Tech may photograph or video-record students during camp sessions and activities for use in club communications, social media, the club website, and internal documentation.
- By agreeing to these terms, the parent/guardian grants Elevate Tech permission to photograph or record their student for club-related purposes.
- Student full names will not be published alongside photos on public platforms without separate consent.
- To opt out of photography and media use, notify us in writing within 7 days of agreeing. We will make all reasonable efforts to exclude your student from published materials.
Equipment & Materials
All robotics components, electronics, tools, kits, and materials used during camp are the sole property of Elevate Tech Robotics Club. Students will have supervised access to these materials during camp sessions.
- Students are expected to handle all equipment with care and return it to its designated storage at the end of each session.
- Intentional damage to or theft of club equipment will result in the family being invoiced for the full replacement cost at current market price.
- Projects built or assembled during camp may be taken home at the discretion of the coach. Any take-home materials will be clearly communicated.
- Elevate Tech is not responsible for personal items brought to camp. Students bring personal belongings at their own risk.
Medical Information & Emergency Authorization
- Parents/guardians must disclose any known allergies, medical conditions, or physical limitations in the registration form prior to the student's first camp day.
- By agreeing to these terms, the parent/guardian authorizes Elevate Tech staff to seek emergency medical treatment for their student if the parent/guardian cannot be reached in time.
- Students who require medication during camp hours must carry that medication themselves, and the parent/guardian must inform the coach in advance.
- Elevate Tech staff do not administer medications of any kind.
- In all medical emergencies, 911 is contacted first. The registered primary contact is notified immediately after.
- Students with severe allergies (e.g., anaphylaxis) must carry their own epinephrine auto-injector. Please notify staff in writing before the first camp day.
Liability Waiver & Release
Participation in hands-on STEM and robotics activities involves physical interaction with materials, tools, and electronics. Elevate Tech takes all reasonable precautions; however, an inherent level of risk exists in any active program.
This release does not apply to claims arising from gross negligence or intentional misconduct by Elevate Tech staff.
Withdrawal & Dismissal
Voluntary Withdrawal: Families may withdraw their student at any time by notifying Elevate Tech in writing. All fees paid are non-refundable.
Dismissal by Elevate Tech: Elevate Tech reserves the right to dismiss any student from the Program for the following reasons:
- Serious or repeated violations of the Code of Conduct
- Physical aggression toward any person at camp
- Theft or intentional destruction of club or personal property
- Behavior that consistently disrupts the experience of other campers
- Disruptive or inappropriate conduct by a parent or guardian during drop-off, pick-up, or any camp communication
Families will be notified of dismissal immediately. All fees paid are non-refundable in cases of dismissal.
